I'd love to say that my photo storage over the years has been stellar, but...well, that'd be stretching the truth. It's always fun to find old photos that you'd thought had gone missing, or been the victim of a hard drive failure, etc. This is one of those shots.



Seeing Bubba styling like this was common back in the day, and I think his showmanship was something that connected him with the fans. During this period of '04, there wasn't much question about who'd be winning, and when he'd pull stuff like this in practice, it almost looked like a dress rehearsal for how he'd be crossing the finish line later that night.
